Warm socks

Cotton socks are not warm and if I wear 100% wool socks, then they have holes in them after two weeks.

2020

These are HeatHolders warm socks:
warm socks

Brand: Heat Holders
Type: Workforce, Original, Heavy Weight
Material: 91% Acrylic, 5% Nylon, 3% Polyester, 1% Elastane.

These socks are made mainly of acrylic. They are slightly warmer than wool socks. It is a thick sock, so the shoes must be big enough.
When I went to the shop to by my walking shoes I had put on thick socks, so luckily my shoes are big enough.
This type "Workforce" has reinforcement at the toes and the heel. The reinforced pieces are small and the seam can be felt at the toes. I should have bought the normal HeatHolders socks.

These socks do not have a tight elastic band that could reduce the blood flow, yet they stay in place very well.
I regularly get an allergic reaction to plastic in clothing. I think it is mainly caused by additives that are added to the plastic. I don't get a strong allergic reaction to these socks, so they used a good quality synthetic yarn.

I use them for my daily walk in the winter. As soon as I get home, I put on 100% cotton or 100% wool socks because I prefer that.

2022

In 2022 they were worn out and I bought new ones.
